Google Voice app for Android updated

Google Voice app for Android updated
Users of the Google Voice app on Android will be glad to know that it has received a new update today. The update brings the app up to version 0.4.2.44 and introduces a useful new feature: asynchronous SMS sending aka offline queuing which means you can now write text messages and save them as drafts when you have no Google Voice connection (i.e. while you're in a tunnel or a plane) and automatically send them out as soon as you're connected again.

The updated app also introduces Ice Cream Sandwich styling for the user interface, making it feel more like an integrated part of the Android experience. The app also now delivers an official user feedback menu on each screen. Google Voice for Android is available now from the Android Market (free) - download it today.
