GT300 will see the light soon
As you already guessed, this is about the latest graphics processor (GPU) GT300 from NVIDIA, which, in the idea should have come to replace the GeForce GTX 275. According to The Inquirer, he will be officially presented on 15 October, but this is only a formal presentation as the first commercial products to its base will be on sale later. The idea is, it will be the most powerful graphic processor in the family of GeForce. If the GTX275 is a slightly modified kernel GTX260, that GT300 will be significantly different from their predecessors, GTX260 and 275. At least, this is the source of an interview with The Inquirer. Apparently, the first production GT300 chips will be available by August 1, but NVIDIA will require at least three months to release the first installment. Thus, one can assume that the GPU will be launched for sale in the second half of October or in November. Although little is known about the GT300, this GPU certainly will support Direct X11, the new version of OpenGL, and most likely it will be built on 40 nm technological processes.
