Hewlett-Packard will soon release a new rugged notebook called HP EliteBook 2540p which is the lightest EliteBook Series. It come with Intel Core i5/i7 processor and 250GB/500GB of hard drive.

Another features of HP EliteBook 2540p like 2M pixel web camera, 3G modem Gobi broadband, 802.11 a/b/g/n wifi connectivity, and 6-cell battery with up to 8-hours for used or 9-cell battery for up to 10.5-hours.

The graphic card and memory capacity is not known yet but HP notebook EliteBook 2540p alreasy meet the military standard test (MIL-STD 810G) for dust, humidity, shock, altitude and high/low temperature. Its available start from $1,099.
