The Huawei Vision U8850 is a pretty nice (at least on paper) mid-end Android smartphone that was announced in August 2011, and started to become available in select markets towards the end of last year. Now, it looks like it will be released in North America, too.
According to the Bluetooth SIG, the Vision is indeed coming to North America, as well as South America. The unit that the SIG is referring to comes with HSDPA 850x1900 MHz, hence it would play nice with AT&T's 3G network. Since AT&T has introduced its very first Huawei smartphone in September - the affordable Impulse 4G - maybe it will want to release the Vision, too. But that's just me speculating, of course.
Another possibility is that the Huawei Vision is headed to Canada, where Rogers, Bell or Telus could introduce it.
