Phoenix Suns to incorporate Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1s in their training
So pilots and airlines are slowly starting to replace their flight bags with tablets. For those unfamiliar, flight bags basically contain manuals and documentation that a pilot would require during the flight. They tend to be heavy and bulky and the introduction of tablets has since helped to reduce that burden.

While basketball players do not need to lug about bags filled with heavy manuals, the introduction of tablets will no doubt be a welcome convenience with multiple uses, and the Phoenix Suns will be the first NBA team to have tablets courtside. This move is a joint effort by the Phoenix Suns, Verizon and Samsung who will be providing the team with Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 tablets.

The tablets will be provided to every player, and in each tablet will feature a team playbook, videos from practice sessions, scouting reports for upcoming opponents, and travel itineraries for road trips. The tablets will also be used by the coaches to call up diagrams of the different plays required during the course of a game. It looks like basketball just got taken to a whole new level.
