While Sony Ericsson has joined the Open Handset Alliance in December last year, until recently, no one saw in the eyes of even the prototype of its Android Phone. Now, thanks to the Danish portal Mobil, we all know how it looks like the first Android Phone, and has over filling. According to the Danes, Rachael (his code name!) Is brought before the public by the end of this year. Incidentally, this model will become part of a series of Xperia, which is represented by only one model - X1. As we know, this is the first smartphone Sony Ericsson, which is running Windows Mobile. According to preliminary data obtained from the Mobil well-informed sources, Rachael built platform based Qualcomm Snapdragon (QSD8250) and has a processor with a nominal 1 GHz. First Android Phone from SE supports HSPA 7.2 Mbps, and can boast 8.1-megapixel camera with autofocus and flash, as well as the 3.5 mm audio output port and miniUSB. It is not clear about the size and type of display, but as argued by one source from Holland, Rachael has shown resistive rather than capacitive type. However, it is only unverified information, and accurate information on this subject yet. Apparently, Rachael will be running Google Android 2.0. As expected, this version will be released later this year. The issue of support for Adobe Flash is still open.
It should be noted that in comparison with other Android Phone Rachael has several advantages, if, of course, data published yesterday by Mobil, untrue. First of all, it refers to the permission of the camera. As you know, even the HTC Hero and Samsung Galaxy can boast only a 5-megapixel cameras, but the iPhone 3GS the figure is limited to 3 megapixel. However, it is a tradition, as SE has always been famous for excellent camera, and the position of the Swedish-Japanese company in this market segment is quite strong.
It remains to add that the SE has joined the Open Handset Alliance in December last year, but now the first of its first Android Phone. |
