Amazon is releasing the latest updated graphite coloured Kindle 3 for $139. Not sure how this is going to compete with Apple iPad, Amazon is still using a non colour LCD screen. The price of the new e-reader will be $139 for a Wi-Fi version and $189 for a model with both 3G and Wi-Fi. |

Let's be honest - you saw this one coming, didn't you? Today Amazon is introducing a new reading device for e-book aficionados dubbed simply. the Kindle. The new handheld - slated to be released on August 27th - is 21 percent smaller and 15 percent lighter than the previous model, has a 20 percent faster refresh rate on its E Ink (yep, still E Ink) screen, and will now come in two colors (graphite, like its big brother the DX, and the original white). |

| Christmas in July: The Nightmare Before Christmas Jenga Game |

I'm not entirely sure why, but The Nightmare Before Christmas has become a bit of a tradition in our family. Every year around Christmas time we watch the movie while wrapping gifts or hanging out around the Christmas Tree, and this Nightmare Before Christmas Jenga game would compliment that tradition very well, even if the holiday season is still a ways off. |
